The King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the General Directorate of Information Technology (IT), in partnership with Microsoft, has recently launched Office 365 pro plus service. The service is educational and free of charge for students and faculty members. The new service aims at facilitating beneficiaries' work and making it more efficient. So, the university urges all its stakeholders (students and faculty members) to benefit from this distinguished package. It is worth mentioning that Office 365 cloud service allows students and faculty members to access their office files across all platforms, whether they are using a laptop, a tablet, or a mobile phone, and to edit them with the possibility of direct participation. The new service could be used online and it guarantees a set of productivity programs, namely:
(Word - PowerPoint - Excel - Outlook - OneNote - Publisher - Access - Skype for Business) and could be installed on the desktop or laptop. As well as the fact that Office 365 Pro Plus is based on the user and allows him or her to access to the Office products via up to five computers (including Macs) and via mobile phones as well. The traditional Office was all linked to computers that are installed on them, but with Office 365 ProPlus, it has been providing new and flexible deployment options to enable users to go through to install Office.
